Terms of Service
Last updated 28 September 2026
These terms govern your use of pastpaper.cc ("the Service"), an online question bank of Cambridge International (CIE) IGCSE and A-Level past-paper questions organised by syllabus topic. By using the Service you agree to them and to our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms.
1. Accounts
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. One person, one account — subscriptions are personal and may not be shared, resold, or used by more than one student. We sign you out of other devices when you sign in, so only one session is active at a time.
You must be old enough to consent to an online service in your country. If you are under that age, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and make any purchase on your behalf.
2. Your data and activity
To run the Service we record how you use it: the questions you open and answer, your results, hints, bookmarks, flashcards, mock exams and teacher worksheets, the pages you visit while signed in, and your sign-in records (time, IP address and device/browser). We use these to provide your progress and statistics, to apply your plan's allowances, to protect the Service and its content, and to understand and improve how the Service is used. Our Privacy Notice sets out exactly what we collect, who can see it, how long we keep it and your rights.
The dashboard leaderboard shows other signed-in users your first name, the initial of your last name and how many questions you answered. You can ask us to leave you off it.
3. Plans and what they include
The Service has a Free tier and paid Pro and Premium tiers. What each includes is described on our pricing page. In summary: Free members may practise papers from 2020 and earlier without limit; paid plans unlock every year plus additional study tools. Some Free features have limited allowances (for example hints, bookmarks, flashcards and one mock exam), as listed on the pricing page.
We may add, change or remove features. If we make a change that materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and request a refund of the unused portion.
4. Billing, renewal and trials
- Paid plans are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled.
- Prices are shown before you buy and may be localised to your country. Taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle.
- Where a free trial is offered, it is stated at checkout. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the subscription begins and you are charged.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
See our Refund Policy for refunds.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service to study. You may not:
- share your account, or let anyone else use your subscription;
- bulk-download, scrape, republish or resell questions, mark schemes or hints, in whole or in part;
- attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits or payment;
- use the Service to build a competing product or dataset, including training machine-learning models on its content;
- interfere with the Service's operation or other users' access.
Question images carry a pastpaper.cc watermark. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches this section.
Separately, using refunds to obtain the Service for free — repeatedly subscribing, extracting content and refunding — is a breach of this section. A refund requested within the refund window is still processed, but we may close the account and decline to sell it a further subscription. See our Refund Policy.
6. Content and intellectual property
Cambridge's material. Past-paper questions and mark schemes are the copyright of Cambridge Assessment International Education, which publishes them. We do not claim ownership of them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cambridge Assessment International Education in any way.
Our material. The hints on the Service are original work written by pastpaper.cc. They are not Cambridge material, and they are protected by copyright. The same applies to our topic classification of questions and to the Service's software and design.
You may read hints for your own personal study. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, share, sell or otherwise distribute any hint, in whole or in part and in any form — including screenshots, transcriptions, study notes passed to others, other websites, apps or social media, and datasets — without our prior written permission.
If you are a rights holder and believe material here should not be, contact us at support@pastpaper.cc and we will respond promptly.
7. Availability and accuracy
We work hard to keep the Service running and its content correct, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we do not guarantee that every question, mark scheme, topic tag or hint is free of error. The Service is a study aid. It is not a substitute for your syllabus, your teacher, or official Cambridge materials, and we make no promise about examination results.
You can report a problem with any question from within the Service, or by emailing us.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused portion of any subscription.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the change.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Nothing in this section removes consumer-protection rights you have in your own country of residence.
12. Who we are
The Service is operated by pastpaper.cc, a sole proprietorship registered in the Republic of Korea.
13. Contact
